Job summary

Children's Dental FunZone is seeking an amazing Orthodontic Assistant or RDA with Ortho experience to join our pediatric dental practice. This part-time position runs Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and two Saturdays per month, offering $25.00-$30.00 per hour and bonus opportunities.

You will perform tasks to support the dental team, maintain sterilization, manage charts, assist with exams, and help provide a fun, high-energy patient experience for kids.

Qualifications

• Must love working with children.
• OA/RDA License by Dental Board.
• An upbeat personality is a MUST.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Dentrix Ascend.
• Familiarity with dental terminology, materials, medications, and instruments used during dental procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform the following tasks to ensure efficiency: clean, sterilize instruments and set up trays.
• Maintain and test equipment (sterilizer, x-ray dosimetry, x-ray processor, etc.).
• Effectively pour models and conduct other lab procedures.
• Perform charting activities and document exam findings in the patient records.
• Maintain clean, orderly, and well-stocked operatory and laboratory.
• Work with the dental team to develop and implement preventive dental activities for the community.
