Job summary

Lone Peak Dental Group is seeking a reliable Orthodontic Assistant for a full-time role in our Birmingham, AL location. You will support orthodontists, prepare treatment rooms, take X-rays, and help create a positive, kid-friendly experience for patients and families.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of ortho practice experience, is a team player, and is eager to learn. We offer medical/dental/vision coverage, 401K, PTO, bonus opportunities, and CE support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in an ortho practice is preferred.
• Additional certification or training is a plus.
• Experience with Cloud9 software or iTero scanners is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms for orthodontic procedures.
• Assist orthodontists during patient appointments and procedures.
• Take and develop dental X-rays.
• Maintain orthodontic instruments and equipment.
• Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and care techniques.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and assist with patient scheduling.
• Keep accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure smooth patient flow and maintain a kid-friendly environment.

Schedule:

• 8-hour shifts
• Daytime hours - No nights!
