Job summary

Adventure Dental & Orthodontics in Baltimore, MD is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to provide efficient, high-quality care to our patients. The role reports to the Lead Orthodontic Assistant and offers a FT schedule in our Baltimore practice.

You will assist the orthodontist chair-side, manage patient records in the EHR system, and collaborate with the team to deliver compassionate care for underserved children. A valid radiology certification and BLS CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Radiology education and training that meets state requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to actively listen to patients and parents.
• Ability to multi-task and complete dental tasks correctly and in a timely manner.
• Knowledge of e-Clinical Works (eCW) a plus.
• Previous experience working in a dental office preferred.
• Current BLS CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide orthodontist with excellent chair-side assistance by fitting orthodontic bands, setting up bonding, placing archwires, delivering appliances, and removing braces in a timely manner
• Collect and record patient medical history in Electronic Healthcare Records (EHR) system
• Collaborate with others to provide high-quality care and experience for our patients and their families
• Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children

Pay range: $20-$28/hr

Sign on bonus: $1000

Job Responsibilities
