Job summary

Adventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics in Commerce City, CO is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to provide efficient chair-side support, assist orthodontists with bands, bonding, archwires, and appliance delivery, and help maintain a clean, welcoming patient environment. The role requires radiology training, strong communication, ability to multi-task, and familiarity with EHR systems.

Current BLS CPR certification and prior dental office experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification includes radiology education and training meeting state requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including a friendly outgoing demeanor and the ability to actively listen to patients and parents.
• Ability to multi-task and complete dental tasks correctly and in a timely manner.
• Knowledge of e-Clinical Works (eCW) is a plus.
• Previous experience working in a dental office is preferred.
• Current BLS CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide orthodontist with excellent chair-side assistance by fitting orthodontic bands, setting up bonding, placing archwires, delivering appliances, and removing braces in a timely manner.
• Collect and record patient medical history in Electronic Health Records (EHR) system
• Collaborate with others to provide high-quality care and experience for our patients and their families
• Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients (restrooms, lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting)
• Participate in other duties that support mission of providing high-quality dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children

Adventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics in Commerce City, CO, is currently seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to provide efficient, high-quality care to our patients. This position will report to the Lead Orthodontic Assistant

Job Responsibilities

• Provide orthodontist with excellent chair-side assistance by fitting orthodontic bands, setting up bonding, placing archwires, delivering appliances, and removing braces in a timely manner
• Collect and record patient medical history in Electronic Healthcare Records (EHR) system
• Collaborate with others to provide high-quality care and experience for our patients and their families
• Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children
