Qualifications

• Previous front office dental experience required.
• Proficiency with dental practice management software.
• Comfort with computers and the ability to pick up new software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to juggle multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel between locations, if needed.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrates ethical conduct & confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Sit down with patients to understand their health history, concerns, and goals.
• Walk patients through their treatment plan, answering questions and addressing concerns.
• Help patients prioritize treatment and map out scheduling and payment.
• Lead financial consultations for new patients and whenever a new treatment plan is presented.
• Manage payment options and policies that uphold the practice's financial integrity.
• Educate patients on their dental benefits and how they apply to treatment.
• Handle insurance billing, payment posting, and claim estimations.
