Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist in the operating room, manage instruments and supplies, and support patient safety during procedures and turnover. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited surgical technology program, and at least one year of surgical technologist experience or three years in an OR within the last seven years. BLS is required.

Certification as CST/TS-C is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program and working as a Surgical Technologist with one year of experience.
• OR Three years of full-time employment within the last seven years in an Operating Room setting as a Surgical Technologist.

Responsibilities

• The surgical technologist handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment during the surgical procedure and turnover, supporting patient safety and quality of care.
