We are a 52-bed, orthopedic unit that opened in 2018 to meet the growing needs of our community. We specialize in orthopedic trauma and elective surgical patients delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Approximately 80% of our patient population consists of trauma patients with injuries involving bone, tendon, nerve, or muscle. Our remaining patient population includes elective surgical patients seeking improved quality of life through procedures such as joint replacement, limb lengthening, as well as patients undergoing complex orthopedic oncology procedures requiring specialized, multidisciplinary care. Due to the complexity of our patient population, our team is highly skilled in managing both orthopedic conditions and coexisting medical needs, ensuring safe, efficient, and holistic care at the PCU level.
