Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise, ID is seeking a Certified Advanced Practice Provider (PA-C or NP-C) to manage orthopedic trauma patients in collaboration with the trauma surgeons. The role includes in ER evaluation, OR participation, inpatient rounding, and outpatient clinic duties, with opportunities for call coverage as needed.

The ideal candidate holds Idaho license, substance registrations (ID Board of Pharmacy and DEA), and has surgical or critical care experience in a hospital

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in Idaho.
• Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho; Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
• Past surgical and/or critical care experience in a hospital-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate trauma patients in the Emergency Department and direct management.
• Work in the operating room and outpatient clinic settings; inpatient rounding.
• Collaborate with orthopedic trauma surgeons and trauma service; potential APP call coverage.
