Job summary

Saint Alphonsus is seeking a certified advanced practice provider (PA-C or NP-C) in Boise, Idaho, to manage orthopedic trauma patients. This role entails working closely with the orthopedic trauma medical director and other team members to evaluate and manage patients both in the Emergency Room and inpatient settings.

The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive assessment skills, expert clinical abilities, and a commitment to a multi-disciplinary team approach. This position includes full-time work with competitive benefits including relocation assistance, PTO, and medical coverage.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner medical license in Idaho.
• Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
• Past surgical and/or critical care experience in a hospital-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage orthopedic trauma patients in collaboration with orthopedic trauma surgeons.
• Evaluate new trauma patients in the Emergency Room.
• Provide direction regarding patient management issues.
