Job summary

Globus Medical is seeking a Trauma Specialist in the United States to market and promote our orthopedic products within company guidelines. You will represent the company, meet sales goals, and develop deep knowledge of products and surgical techniques to position Globus Medical above competitors.

The role requires travel to accounts, strong collaboration and communication skills, and the ability to work with surgeons to drive growth while maintaining compliance with applicable policies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years medical device sales or orthopedic trauma related products experience and a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience within an operating room strongly preferred.
• Ability to travel as necessary, which may include nights and/or weekends.
• Ability to collaborate and influence; excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong understanding of skeletal/orthopedic anatomy.
• Ability to make sales presentations with positive results.
• Strong computer skills – MS Office.
• Manual dexterity is essential.

Responsibilities

• Meets or exceeds all sales goals and objectives in the assigned territory.
• Gains product knowledge through formal sales training and surgeon programs.
• Communicates new ideas promptly to product development.
• Attends sales meetings, trainings, and trade shows as directed.
• Develops knowledge of Globus Medical products and competitors.
• Provides feedback on market opportunities and performance.
• Develops relationships with trauma surgeon customers.
• Manages travel expenses within budget.
