Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina, seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for Ortho Trauma to lead patient-centered care on the unit during the shift. You will coordinate nursing services, collaborate with the management team, and guide staff to deliver high-quality outcomes.

The CNC will support admissions/discharges, staffing, training, and inventory control while promoting a patient-first culture and adherence to policies.

Qualificações

• RN license required to practice as a registered nurse.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of start date.

Responsabilidades

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit, in collaboration with the management team.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts and managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Supports nursing strategies to improve engagement, including staff rounding and hourly rounds.
• Provides recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, training staff, and performance evaluations.
• Assists with staff scheduling and manages labor according to patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Supports inventory control and management of supplies and equipment.
