Job summary

Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC is seeking a Surgical Technologist/Surgical Assistant to support surgeons during operations, provide pre and post-operative care, and assist in the operating room under RN or physician supervision. • Graduate of an Accredited Surgical Technology Program or equivalent with at least 2 years’ experience.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operations and set up equipment per procedure.
• Maintain sterile technique and safe operating room environment.
• Prepare and label specimens, gather supplies, and coordinate instruments.
• Circulate under RN supervision and communicate with the team during procedures.
• Participate in patient positioning and intraoperative support as needed.
• Document activities and ensure accurate patient information.
