Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Central Services Technician responsible for decontamination, assembly and sterilization of surgical instrumentation. This role also covers assembling and delivering case carts, and replenishing soft supplies across the surgical core and CS packs storage area.

You will work with the Lead Central Service Technician and Materials Coordinator to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient clinical operations. Weekend coverage and potential overtime are expected.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal Central Services Technician course.
• 1 year of related experience with surgical instrumentation in hospital Sterile Processing/Central Services environment
• Materials management and/or supply chain experience

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, assemble and sterilize surgical instrumentation with an automated Instrument Tracking System.
• Assemble and deliver surgical and interventional procedure case carts.
• Par, order and replenish soft supplies in the surgical core and CS packs storage area.
