Thisiscny in Syracuse is seeking a Sterile Supply Assistant to lead the sterilization of surgical instrumentation for orthopedic and spine sets within Sterile Processing. You will decontaminate, inspect, assemble, disassemble, package and sterilize sets, operate sterilization equipment, monitor processes, and communicate with surgeons, nurses, and vendors to ensure readiness and timely turnover.

Qualifications

• Requires associates degree and 2 years of sterilizing reusable surgical sets experience or equivalent.
• Nationally accredited central service technician exam or equivalent credential or evidence of prior Central Service Technician employment between 2011 and 2015.

Responsabilités

• Sterilize surgical instruments and sets for orthopedic/spine cases.
• Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, package and sterilize reusable surgical sets; monitor sterilization processes.
• Coordinate with surgeons, circulating nurses, and vendors; ensure trauma readiness and timely set turnaround.
