Job summary

Stryker is seeking an Intern in Ortho Sales to immerse you in medical technology and frontline sales activities. You will shadow Sales Associates, prepare targeted outreach, and learn selling skills and instrument use with hands-on guidance.

Applicants should be US permanent residents or citizens, pursuing a related bachelor's degree with a preferred 3.0+ GPA, and demonstrate strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; plan to enroll in a degree-seeking program after the summer.
• Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above (preferred).
• Must be a permanent resident of the U.S. or a U.S. citizen.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
• Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work with changing priorities.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment.
• Proficiency with basic computer programs: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Proven leadership and business acumen skills.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Sales Associates, Sales Representatives, and Operations Team Members to gain insight into all branch activities and prepare a sales presentation.
• Develop a project segment to create a target account list and marketing strategy.
• Learn selling skills, processes, and instrument-use techniques with mentorship.
• Shadow and assist Team Member Drivers with kit deliveries to and from accounts.
• Assist in the warehouse assembling and breaking down instrument kits and preparing products for surgery.
• Coordinate with various teams regarding product information and applications.
• Support Sales and Field Operations on special projects as assigned.
