Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Orthopedics unit on the weekend, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO. The role is full-time (36 hours/week) with a day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on weekends.

This position requires a Missouri RN license or compact licensure, BLS certification, and an accredited nursing degree. Hospital experience is preferred for this unit, with opportunities for growth within Mercy's care teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Must hold Missouri RN license or compact license.
• BLS certification required or within 30 days of hire.
• Hospital experience preferred depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
• Evaluate care effectiveness of direct care givers.
