Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for Orthopedics on the Weekend Day Shift (7:00 AM–7:00 PM), 36 hours per week. The nurse will apply the nursing process to deliver patient care and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Required are an accredited nursing degree (ASN/ Diploma/ BSN) and MO RN licensure or compact licensure, plus BLS. Prior hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or possess compact licensure per state regulations.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and direct care staff.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
