Laredo Physician Associates in Laredo, TX is seeking a Registered Medical Assistant (Orthopedics) to support clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced orthopedic clinic.

You will assist with procedures, prep exam rooms, manage patient intake, coordinate referrals, and ensure smooth clinic operations while delivering exceptional patient service. 0–1 year experience and RMA certification required; licensure reimbursement and strong benefits provided.

Formación

• 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or externship required
• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) – AMT required
• BCLS certification required
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Responsabilidades

• Assists providers with clinical procedures such as taking vital signs, wound care, injections, phlebotomy, vaccines, EKGs.
• Prepares and cleans exam rooms for patient visits.
• Performs patient intake duties, including reporting test results, phone triage, and documenting medical information as directed by licensed personnel or providers.
• Reviews and maintains daily logs and documentation.
• Supports administrative duties: pre-registering patients, scheduling, referrals, insurance verification.
• Maintains an organized workload and provides prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
• Monitors and requisitions clinic supplies and equipment to ensure inventory and functionality.
• Educates patients on medications, diets, and other health topics.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
