Laredo Physician Associates invites a Registered Medical Assistant to join our Laredo Care Clinic. The RMA provides essential patient care under supervision, supports clinical and administrative tasks, and helps maintain efficient clinic operations with a patient-first focus.

Ideal candidates have 0–1 year in a medical setting, hold RMA and BCLS credentials, and can deliver quality service while supporting providers and patients in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of experience in a medical practice or externship completed.
• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
• BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with clinical procedures, vital signs, injections, and EKGs.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms; manage patient intake and documentation.
• Support administrative duties: pre-register patients, schedule referrals, verify insurance.
• Maintain inventory and ensure compliance with policies.
