Job summary

Texas Health Resources in Dallas seeks a Patient Care Tech (PCT) for the Orthopedics unit. This full-time night position runs 6:45P–7:15A, totaling 36 hours per week with three 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends/holidays.

The Ortho H3N unit offers self-scheduling, growth opportunities, and a fast-paced environment. You will support nursing staff with basic patient care and data collection while ensuring patient comfort.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA/PCT training program required upon hire.
• BCLS certification required prior to independent patient care.
• CPI training within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under nursing supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient comfort.
• Collect patient data and report significant findings to the nurse.
• Help with admissions, transfers, and discharges when applicable.
• Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and document care accurately.
