Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking a Patient Care Tech/PCT – Intermediate for the Dallas, TX area. This full-time night shift position runs 36 hours weekly from 7pm to 7am with rotating weekends and holidays, in a busy Intermediate Care unit focused on quality care and excellent patient experiences.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, with preference for 1 year PCT experience in an acute setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year PCT experience in an acute setting preferred.
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) required prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care according to the plan of care.
• Collects patient data and reports significant findings to the nurse.
• Assists in admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Documents care accurately and appropriately.
• Maintains a safe and clean patient environment and anticipates patient/family needs.
