Job summary

Avante Orthopaedics LLC is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (PA-C or NP) to join our growing team in the Washington, DC & College Park, MD area. This APP role covers outpatient orthopaedics with hospital-based and surgical services, offering clinical autonomy within a collaborative setting.

The ideal candidate will evaluate orthopaedic conditions, perform injections, interpret imaging, and coordinate care with surgeons and hospital teams.

Qualifications

• Licensure as PA-C or NP with orthopaedic experience.
• Experience with injections, splinting, casting, and imaging.
• Ability to coordinate care with surgeons, APPs, and hospital teams.
• Willingness to travel within the DMV and to Maryland\u2019s Eastern Shore.

Responsibilities

• Orthopaedic clinic evaluation and treatment.
• Hospital inpatient orthopaedic coverage.
• Perioperative evaluation and surgical care coordination.
• Evaluation of acute musculoskeletal injuries and chronic orthopaedic conditions.
• Review and interpretation of X-rays and other musculoskeletal imaging.
• Joint and soft-tissue injections.
• Splinting and basic casting.
• Patient education and follow-up care.
• Coordination with surgeons, physical therapists, hospital teams, and other care members.
