This role emphasizes evaluation, surgical support, inpatient rounding, and patient education, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and a hands-on surgical component.

Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) – Orthopedics & Orthopedic Trauma

UPMC is seeking a Full-Time Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant/PA or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner/CRNP) to join our Orthopedics and Orthopedic Trauma team. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care across clinic, surgical, and inpatient settings while working in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment.

In this role, you’ll make a meaningful impact supporting patients through the full continuum of orthopedic care—from evaluation and surgical intervention to recovery.

Schedule & Work-Life Balance

• Four 10-hour days per week
• 3–4 days of call per month
• Balanced schedule across clinic, OR, and inpatient care
  • 1–2 days in outpatient clinic
  • 1–2 days in the operating room
  • Daily inpatient rounding on post-operative patients
