Job summary
Indiana Regional Medical Center (IRMC) is seeking a Physician Assistant for Orthopedic Surgery in Indiana, PA. This full-time, on-site position involves supporting the surgeon with patient assessment, treatment plans, and approved procedures, across neonate to geriatric populations.
The PA must graduate from an accredited PA program, be licensed in Pennsylvania, and maintain ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications. Interpersonal skills and teamwork are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant School.
- Certification/licensure as a Physician Assistant in Pennsylvania.
- ACLS and PALS certifications; BLS required within 1 month of hire.
- Ability to care for neonatal through geriatric patients.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and implement physician-directed treatment plans.
- Perform or assist with physician-approved procedures and tests.
- Provide care across age groups from neonate to geriatric.
- Collaborate with the physician and health care team to ensure quality care.
