Job summary

Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital in Homewood, AL is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Surgery team in the Main Operating Room. This is a full-time position with multiple schedules available (3, 4, and 5 days per week). Call is required.

The RN will circulate in the main OR, prepare the room and instruments, monitor patient vitals, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient care before, during, and after procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Maintains Alabama RN license and BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS/NRP/PALS may be required for certain areas.

Responsibilities

• Circulates in the main operating room and supports the surgical team.
• Prepares the OR and sterile instruments for procedures.
• Monitors patient vitals and ensures patient safety throughout surgery.
• Documents patient care and coordinates communication with the team.
