Memorial Healthcare System seeks a clinical assistant to provide direct patient care for orthopedic patients under the supervision of a physician, PA, or NP. You will manage patient calls, perform basic diagnostics, phlebotomy, and assist with assessments, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.

Responsibilities include coordinating Telehealth appointments, ensuring imaging availability, and maintaining examination areas and supplies.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Orthopedic Technology Program (ROT), or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program, or six (6) months of patient care experience.
• Ability to obtain and document vital signs, measurements, and basic patient data.
• Competent in phlebotomy, order processing, and coordinating discharge instructions.

• Manages patient communications and coordinates with physicians and nurses.
• Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection when needed.
• Assists with patient assessments and treatments under supervision.
