Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program or a minimum of one year of direct patient care experience.
• CRT-Medical Assistant, Certified (CMA) - AAMA 120 Days
• CRT-Medical Assistant, Certified (CCMA) - NHA 120 Days
• CRT-Medical Assistant, Certified (NCMA) - NCCT 120 Days
• CRT-Medical Assistant, Certified (NRCMA) - NAHP 120 Days
• CRT-Medical Assistant, Certified (RMA) - AMT 120 Days
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA 90 Days
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC 90 Days

Responsibilities

• Facilitates efficient and effective patient flow.
• Performs administrative duties to keep information current.
• Maintains and monitors electronic health records.
• Keeps environment and equipment clean and functioning.
• Greet and communicate with patients and families respectfully.
• Collaborate with health care team for continuity and quality of care.
• Collects and reports patient data to licensed team members.
• Adheres to documentation standards and privacy policies.
• Participates in continuous training to maintain competence.
• Assists providers with examinations and procedures as needed.
• Prepares, administers and documents medications within scope of practice.
