Job summary

Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC seeks a full-time Medical Assistant to support physicians across Joliet, New Lenox, and Orland Park locations. You will perform administrative and clinical duties in a busy outpatient clinic, assisting with examinations, triage, and patient education while coordinating referrals and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Requires certification/ CPR as applicable and an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Experience in an orthopedic healthcare setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and multi-tasking abilities are essential.
• Familiarity with practice management and EHR software.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily administrative and clinical duties to support outpatient clinic operations.
• Assists physicians with patient examinations, triage, and education.
• Coordinate referrals, scheduling, and patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency.
• Handle clerical tasks including charting, records, and insurance verification.
• Provide patient care tasks such as vitals collection, injections prep, and room preparation.
