Illinois Bone and Joint Institute LLC in Joliet is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to support physicians across our three south office locations in Joliet, New Lenox, and Naperville. The role combines daily administrative and clinical duties to keep outpatient clinics running smoothly and deliver quality patient care.

Responsibilities include guiding patients to exam rooms, prepping for examinations, assisting physicians, managing referrals, scheduling, and handling clerical tasks while

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program is a plus.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in an orthopedic healthcare setting preferred.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and inform team of delays.
• Prepare patients for examinations and triage as needed.
• Assist physicians with examinations and procedures.
• Coordinate referrals and scheduling for therapies, tests and surgeries.
• Perform clerical duties and maintain infection control and clean exam rooms.
