Job summary

Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, GA is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our operating room team. You will scrub for procedures from pre-op to post-op and assist the surgeon and OR staff under the RN Circulator's supervision.

Ideal candidates graduate from an approved Surgical Technician program, have 2–3 years OR experience or CST certification, knowledge of orthopedic instrumentation, and hold a Georgia CST license. BLS certification is required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved Surgical Technician program.
• 2–3 years OR experience preferred.
• CST certification preferred; NBSTSA credential.
• Georgia CST license and BLS certification required/preferred.
• Knowledge of orthopedic instrumentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrub on all procedures from pre-op to post-op.
• Assist Surgeon and OR team with sterile technique and instrument handling.
• Collaborate with RN Circulator to ensure accurate charges and specimen handling.
• Maintain instrument counts and organize supplies for procedures.
• Prepare sterile instruments and equipment for specific procedures.
• Participate in call rotations for OR coverage.
