Job summary

The Comanche Nation Headquarters is seeking a Project Manager for the Orphaned Well Program (OWP). This role supports the Project Director, overseeing field investigations, data collection, and regulatory compliance to identify and prioritize orphaned wells on tribal lands.

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage teams including engineers and environmental scientists.
  • Experience in managing large-scale projects with budgeting and scheduling.
  • Familiarity with funding sources and financial management for remediation projects.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and develop Comanche Tribal Land Orphaned Well Program (OWP) and field locate orphaned wells on the Reservation.
  • Collaborate with Project Director and partners to implement project activities and outreach.
  • Develop work plans for intrusive field activities and assist with program infrastructure.
  • Identify, inventory, rank, and prioritize orphaned wells and develop a data base for identified wells.
