Job summary

Colorado Network Staffing seeks an Entry level Construction Manager/Coordinator to oversee rural water construction programs, perform site visits, and ensure funding, schedules, and compliance with engineering standards.

The role requires a 4-year degree and extensive experience with tribal contracts (P.L. 93-638), with strong communication and coordination skills for interactions with tribes and government counterparts. Working at Westminster, CO 80031 on a contractor basis.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of engineering principles for water-related projects and ability to adapt standard practices.
• Experience administering major multi-part contracts and budgets; mentoring junior staff.
• Ability to plan, budget, and schedule construction and O&M activities for tribal rural water systems.
• Knowledge of civil, electrical, mechanical engineering standards; review plans and inspect construction.
• Understanding of SDWA and related regulations for Bureau projects.
• Minimum 10 years in construction or related field.
• Experience with tribal contracting regulations (P.L. 93-638) and tribal nations.

Responsibilities

• Provide Construction Program Oversight with planning meetings, site visits, and funding reviews.
• Provide Operation and Maintenance Oversight to ensure safe drinking water and regulatory compliance.
• Provide Project Coordination with tribes, consulting firms, and contractors.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with customers and stakeholders.
