Job summary

CIS Industries seeks a Commercial HVAC Estimator in Orlando, FL to prepare accurate estimates for Design/Build and Plan/Spec projects. You will compute AC/heat loads, assess duct sizing, and work with vendors to ensure cost accuracy.

This role collaborates with project management to align budgets with requirements and deadlines. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in HVAC design/sales/estimation, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Commercial HVAC design, sales, build & estimation.
• Strong knowledge of Commercial HVAC systems and construction methods.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a challenging environment.

Responsibilities

• Review base building documents from GC/Owner.
• Calculate AC & heat loads for offices, warehouses, restaurants.
• Review plans to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers on budgets and timelines.
• Obtain competitive pricing from vendors/subcontractors.
• Obtain submittals from vendors.
• Prepare and submit bids and proposals to clients.
• Evaluate and analyze project risks.
• Participate in design and project meetings; support teams.
