Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks an experienced Onsite WAVE VoIP Engineer to work in Orlando, Florida, within the US Federal Government Markets Division. You will be the primary technical contact for WAVE issues, coordinate maintenance, and ensure interoperability of VoIP and related systems.

Responsibilities include license management, system updates, and collaboration with internal teams to resolve complex problems. Strong communication and security clearance readiness are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with WAVE/VoIP/Radio systems or related technology.
• US work authorization and ability to obtain security clearance.
• US citizen or eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Onsite WAVE Engineer will be the primary contact for all technical issues and sit onsite in Orlando, FL.
• Oversee, manage, and coordinate maintenance issues and act as point of contact for resolution and escalation.
• Provide system support, maintenance, and updates of the WAVE System.
• Coordinate licenses, user accounts, certificates, and federation of WAVE for interoperability.
• Perform weekly maintenance, updates, and upgrades with customers' management.
• Monitor dependencies and ensure continuity of WAVE operations.
• Coordinate with Motorola Solutions WAVE software support team.
• Deliver reports and fulfill customer-facing tasks as directed.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and liaison with contractors and entities.
• Identify failure trends and lead technical resources for open CSR cases.
• Develop and communicate technical recommendations to improve WAVE performance.
