Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Onsite WAVE VoIP Engineer to be the primary technical contact in Orlando, FL. The role requires 4+ years in related vocations, U.S. citizenship, and ability to obtain security clearance.

You will oversee maintenance, upgrades, and coordination with customers and Motorola teams to ensure seamless WAVE operations. The position sits onsite, offers a base salary range and benefits, and requires strong communication and problem-solving skills to support public safety

Qualifications

4+ years of experience with one or more of the following: Smart Connect / WAVE, VoIP, LMR, RF Systems, Radio Communications, IT Systems, Networking.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract(s).

Responsibilities

Onsite WAVE VoIP Engineer will be the primary contact for all WAVE technical issues onsite in Orlando.
Oversee, manage, and coordinate maintenance issues; serve as point of contact for issue resolution and escalation.
Provide for system support, maintenance, and updates of the WAVE System; coordinate upgrades with customers’ management.
