Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking an ORION Spacecraft Technician Electrical, Associate for on-site work at Kennedy Space Center, FL. The role involves harness fabrication, testing and ensuring proper electrical assembly of developmental units in collaboration with engineering and production teams.

You will work from schematics and blueprints, utilizing standard tools to assemble assemblies and sub-assemblies. A&P license and basic para-engineering tasks experience are beneficial for this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with additional technical training toward an Associate degree.
• Demonstrated ability to perform technical/para-engineering tasks 0–2+ years.
• US citizenship required.

We are seeking a ORION Spacecraft Technician Electrical, Associate in Kennedy Space Center, FL.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Strong electrical background stemming from harness fabrication, testing, and installation.
• Performs a variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks in support of specific production units, developmental or prototype requirements in product development, manufacturing engineering or preproduction operations where documentation and guidance may be limited.
• Works from schematics, blueprints and oral instructions to construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies and components.
• Uses standard electronic assembly tools and materials.
• May perform modifications, rework, and quality testing.
• A&P (Airframe & Power-plant) license

Requirements:

• High school diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks 0-2 years or more of experience.
• Must be a US Citizen
