Job description

Origination Support Specialist (LOA) will be organized with a strong attention to detail. This individual is expected to exercise significant initiative in the performance of all assigned duties.

PRIMARY POSITION-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist Loan Officer in general administrative and clerical duties.
• Obtain loan documentation once loan application is received and ensure all documentation is completed accurately for Loan Officer to proceed to the next phase of processing.
• Schedule appointments, meetings, lunches, and etc. for the Loan Officer and clients.
• Assist with branch marketing efforts to generate leads.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Must be dependable with meeting deadlines and managing time.
• Have an ability to work independently on multiple files simultaneously.
• Possess strong oral and written communication skills.

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in the mortgage banking industry.
