Job summary

AnnieMac Home Mortgage is seeking a Full Time Originating Branch Manager to supervise a local branch and originate loans in the New Jersey market. You will build client referral relationships with real estate professionals, recruit and mentor MLOs, and oversee loan quality and processes from application to closing.

The role requires strong knowledge of mortgage pricing and underwriting, familiarity with FNMA/FHLMC/FHA/VA requirements and applicable laws, plus a sales-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Mortgage Loan Originator license
• Thorough knowledge of pricing and underwriting requirements of various mortgage insurance companies
• Working knowledge of credit underwriting and property eligibility requirements for FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, local bonding programs and private investors
• Familiar with local, state and national laws (e.g. Truth-in-Lending, RESPA)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to analyze financial information
• Sales-oriented self-starter

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain client referral relationships with Realtors, builders and developers and make sales calls on potential or existing customers to develop new business or retain existing business.
• Recruit and hire MLOs for the branch and motivate staff to achieve maximum production levels.
• Train and oversee the branch staff relative to proper techniques and standards, with appropriate follow-through.
• Monitor quality of loans originated by MLOs and ensure they are within company policy guidelines.
• Monitor MLO compensation plans and keep them in balance with production.
• Oversee the loan process by monitoring loan status and ensuring conformity with terms; assist in collecting additional documents and communication of loan status to all interested parties.
• Maintain a professional image and standards consistent with company policies and procedures.

Job description

AnnieMac Home Mortgage is looking to hire a Full Time Originating Branch Manager to be responsible for supervising their own branch and originating loans. Candidates should have experience directly related to the Mortgage Industry. Under the direct supervision of the National Director of Branch Development, the job responsibilities of the Originating Branch Manager position include, but are not limited, to the following:Establish and maintain client referral relationships with Realtors, builders and developers and make sales calls on potential or existing customers to develop new business or retain existing business.Recruit and hire MLOs for the branch and motivate staff to achieve maximum production levels.Train and oversee the branch staff relative to proper techniques and standards, with appropriate follow-through.Monitor quality of loans originated by MLOs and ensure they are within company policy guidelines.
