Job summary

AMDA College of the Performing Arts is seeking Orientation Leaders to support incoming students. You will track attendance on Zoom and in-person, monitor Canvas progress, and encourage participation in seminars and activities.

You will liaison between the Orientation Team and students, help guide online and in-person orientation, attend seminars, assist in room setup and check-in materials, and participate in weekly meetings with the Orientation Team.

Qualifications

• Must be in good standing with the school as an Alum.
• Must be able to lift 30lbs.
• Must be able to be on your feet for 8–10 hours.
• Knowledge of working with a tablet.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Tracking students' attendance on Zoom and in-person
• Tracking progress on Canvas to make sure all assignments are completed
• Encouraging students to attend all seminars and activities
• Be a liaison between the Orientation Team and the students
• Help guide students through their online and in-person Orientation
• Weekly Meetings with incoming students and the Orientation Team
• Attending Orientation seminars and sessions to support the incoming students
• Assist Orientation Coordinator in setting up and breaking down rooms
• Assist in bag and folder preparation for Orientation check-in
