Step into an essential role supporting students independence and confidence in Southeast Texas! We are seeking a dedicated Orientation and Mobility Specialist with active OMS and AVCREP (or comparable) certification to provide vital services to a school community beginning this August. Your work will empower students with visual impairments, helping them safely navigate their environments and gain vital life skills.

Youll work approximately 20 hours per week on a contract basis during the 2026-2027 school year, with flexible scheduling around the academic calendar. The number of assigned campuses will be determined soon, and youll collaborate with administrators to finalize caseload specifics after an upcoming meeting with district leadership. As one of the few Orientation and Mobility Specialists in the region, your expertise will have a significant and immediate impactproviding support for an area with a critical need.
