Job summary

Environmental Health is seeking to design, develop, implement, and facilitate blended learning programs for organizational development. The role includes maintaining web-based e-learning systems and performing related duties across the assigned area of responsibility.

Responsibilities include conducting organizational audits, designing and monitoring development programs, and supporting training across City government levels. A bachelor's degree and four years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in organizational development and training, education, organizational learning and information technology (OLIT), industrial and organizational psychology, Business, or Human Resources.
  • Four (4) years of organizational development and learning experience.
  • Education and experience directly related to the minimum requirements below may be interchangeable on a year for year basis.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct organizational audits on existing learning programs and analyze learning needs.
  • Design, implement, facilitate and monitor a variety of organizational-development programs and services; revise programs as needed.
  • Analyze, determine, and recommend learning needs for all levels of City governments.
  • Attend and participate in group meetings; present opportunities in learning and development programs.
  • Prepare, coordinate, schedule, register and host training sessions; set up rooms; track testing database and provide reports.

Education

Bachelor's degree in organizational development and training, education, organizational learning and information technology (OLIT), industrial and organizational psychology, Business, or Human Resources
