Job summary

LifeScience Logistics in Durham, NC is seeking a training and development professional to design, deliver and track employee training using Compliance Quest. The role focuses on assessing needs and aligning programs with company policies.

You will work independently, demonstrate problem-solving, and communicate effectively with staff at all levels. The position requires preparing presentations and maintaining records using MS Office.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in training and development, or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to take initiative and able to work independently.
• Demonstrates resourcefulness, ownership and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge MS Office Suite specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exhibit exceptional interpersonal relationships with employees, peers, and customer
• Professional dress is required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and uploads effective training utilizing Compliance Quest interface.
• Conducts need assessments to determine measures required to improve the effectiveness of employee performance.
• Have thorough knowledge and understanding of Company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook, and standalone policies.
• Assist in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of facility in relation to established goals.
• Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
• Support Organizational Development’s morale initiatives by facilitating employee social functions.
• Other duties as assigned.
