UC Davis Health seeks an Organizational Development Supervisor to lead the enterprise consulting practice, including Operational Excellence, the PMO, and Integrated Service Lines. The Organizational Development Supervisor is responsible for providing operational and administrative leadership for UC Davis Health's enterprise consulting practice, including Operational Excellence, the Project Management Office (PMO), and Integrated Service Lines (ISL), while leading highly complex divisional and enterprise-wide initiatives that support UC Davis Health's strategic priorities. The supervisor oversees consultant performance, workload management, professional development, resource allocation, and project quality across multiple consulting disciplines while partnering with executive leadership to identify, prioritize, and execute strategic improvement initiatives. Serving as an expert advisor in project management, process improvement, organizational change management, and operational excellence, the supervisor ensures the consistent application of consulting methodologies and fosters a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. The supervisor actively coaches and develops Organizational Consultants while maintaining responsibility for select high-impact consulting engagements. This role collaborates with executives, physicians, operational leaders, and staff across the health system while independently managing multiple priorities in a complex healthcare environment and ensuring alignment across Operational Excellence, PMO, and Integrated Service Lines.
With expertise in process improvement and project management, the UCDH's Operational Excellence, Project Management, and Integrated Services Lines teams collaborates with departments across the organization, focusing on project, program, and portfolio management, process optimization, labor management, resource utilization, and quality improvement.
