Job summary

Healthbay Company in Des Moines, IA seeks an Organizational Development Consultant on a full-time contract. You will partner with leadership and staff to assess needs, design interventions, and drive culture, performance, and change management.

The role requires strong communication, facilitation, and project management, with remote, hybrid, or on-site work options. Compensation ranges from $105,000 to $170,000 per year, with about 40 hours weekly and potential for renewal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
• 4–8 years of experience in organizational development, talent management, HR consulting, or learning and development roles.
• Certification in OD, talent management, coaching, or leadership development is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience designing and leading organizational interventions and training.
• Strong analytical, facilitation, and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, including creating compelling presentations and reports.
• Experience with change management frameworks and workforce analytics.
• Proven ability to work across all levels of an organization and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assess organizational structures, processes, and culture to identify opportunities for improvement and increased effectiveness.
• Design and implement talent management, leadership development, and employee engagement programs.
• Work with leadership to develop and deliver change management strategies that support major business initiatives and transitions.
• Analyze workforce trends, employee feedback, and organizational metrics to inform interventions.
• Facilitate group sessions, workshops, focus groups, and training events targeting professional growth and team alignment.
• Develop resources, tools, and communication materials to support OD initiatives and foster continuous improvement.
• Support performance management processes, career development planning, and succession strategies.
• Provide expert guidance and coaching to managers and teams on organizational best practices.
• Monitor progress, measure outcomes, and report on the effectiveness of OD programs to stakeholders.
• Stay current on industry trends and emerging theories in organizational development to bring innovative solutions.
