Position Description
- An Organizational Change Management Specialist 3 leads complex, enterprise-level change initiatives by developing and executing strategies that drive adoption, minimize resistance, and ensure long-term sustainability.
- This role partners with executives, project teams, and stakeholders to assess organizational impacts, design communication and training plans, and embed change readiness across the organization.
- The Specialist applies advanced change methodologies, facilitates workshops, and uses data-driven insights to guide decision-making and measure outcomes.
- This position serves as a senior advisor, mentoring others and ensuring that change management practices are integrated into project delivery and organizational culture.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of organization design, team effectiveness, and project management
- Knowledge of Change Management Methodologies and Tools that span an entire project life cycle from idea conceptualization and project
- Skill in translating business and technical needs into effective communication plans
- Skill in collecting, analyzing, evaluating, and presenting data from a variety of sources, both internal and external to DTI
- Skill in producing effective written and oral communications
- Ability to perform at a high level in a self-directed environment
- Ability to develop and deliver high quality customized communications timely and accurately
- Ability to manage complex, cross-functional stakeholder alignment and issue resolution using sophisticated executive influence skills
- Ability to use critical thinking and sound judgement and reach logical conclusions
- Ability to simultaneously analyze and prioritize multiple projects and competing priorities in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior executives and project sponsors on strategic project planning, communication, and presentation development
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Information Systems, Marketing/Public Relations or Public Administration preferred
- Knowledge or certification of PROSCI Change Management (or other formal change management certification) preferred
- Minimum of five years producing communications. Marketing or education/training materials using professional graphics tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Captivate, QuarkXpress, Affinity, Articulate, web-based/HTML marketing tools or like)
- Minimum of five years of experience working on enterprise projects
- Excellent and demonstrated skills in oral and written communication, including presentations and large group facilitation
- Minimum of one year of experience working with Microsoft Office applications and virtual meeting tools
