Job summary

Southall Farm and Inn in Franklin, TN seeks a Farm Manager to lead the Farm Cultivation Team, overseeing a 2-acre vegetable operation and four acres of orchards, with eggs and poultry. The role designs systems to deliver high-quality produce for onsite restaurants, events and retail.

You will hire, train and supervise farm staff, set priorities, coordinate labor, and maintain guest-ready farm spaces. A 5+ year track record in organic farming and tractor operation is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of organic/biodynamic farm management experience.
• Experience operating tractors and farming equipment with safety knowledge.
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams and maximize productivity.
• Passion for interacting with guests, visitors and staff of varied ages/backgrounds.
• Open and flexible to new ways of working with diverse communities.
• Commitment to sustainable, regenerative farming.

Responsibilities

• Build, develop and manage the Farm Team and its culture.
• Ensure high-quality produce for onsite restaurants, events and retail.
• Set priorities and coordinate weekly labor across farm areas.
• Hire, onboard and train Farm Team members.
• Maintain guest-ready, sensory-rich farm spaces and educational areas.
• Foster collaboration with other departments to align harvests with demand.
