Job summary

Getinge is seeking a US-based coordinator to assist in organ screening for Paragonix transplant partners. You will handle initial responses, notify transplant coordinators of donor offers, and ensure policy adherence across Paragonix and OPTN guidelines.

Responsibilities include 12‑hour on‑call coverage, accurate documentation, and acting as the primary OPO liaison. High school diploma required; healthcare background preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Experience in high stress / customer-interacting environment required.
• Bachelor's degree in health science or related transplant field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen transplant offers from the OPTN contractor according to center criteria and OPTN policy.
• Maintain training and credentials for Paragonix and OPTN systems.
• Provide excellent customer service and clear, concise clinical communication with internal and external staff.
• Be reachable within 5 minutes by telephone during the 12‑hour shift.
• Document transplant center responses in the OPTN system per rules.
• Serve as primary contact for OPO communication during screening.
