Job summary

Infinite Legacy is seeking a Procurement Specialist 1 to perform organ back table duties, assist with renal perfusion, and recover anatomical gifts for research. Duties include sterile technique, post-mortem support, and coordination with Donor Services, with a 24/7 schedule and travel within the donor service area.

Candidates should have biology coursework and healthcare experience. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, long shifts, and occasional on-call responsibilities, while adhering

Qualifications

• Basic medical terminology and human anatomy knowledge.
• Ability to define problems and resolve them quickly while prioritizing deadlines.
• Ability to work independently or with stakeholders during high stress.

Responsibilities

• Participates in a minimum of three, 12-hour shifts per pay week to cover a 24/7 schedule.
• Performs the organ back table role during recovery, maintaining sterility and following UNOS guidelines.
• Assists with post-mortem care and final closure.
• Collaborates with Donor Services Center staff on organ recovery and placement.
• Maintains supplies and participates in recovery suite maintenance.
• Performs biopsies as requested and participates in research when appropriate.
• Represents Infinite Legacy off-site and ensures professional conduct and compliance.
• Trains new Procurement Specialist as needed.
• Completes data entry and office duties as activity permits.
• Maintains documentation and SOP compliance.
