Job summary

Infinite Legacy is seeking a Procurement Specialist 1 to perform organ back table functions for local procurements and surgical recovery. The role requires flexibility to cover days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with strict adherence to safety and UNOS guidelines.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and human anatomy.
• Ability to define problems and resolve them quickly while managing deadlines.
• Valid driver’s license and be insurable under Infinite Legacy’s master policy.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or with stakeholders during high-stress times.
• Excellent written, verbal, organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift objects weighing 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform organ back table support during surgical recovery ensuring sterility and UNOS guidance.
• Assist with post-mortem care and final closure.
• Collaborate with Donor Services Center staff to facilitate communication about organ recovery and placement.
• Maintain supplies and participate in recovery suite maintenance.
• Perform biopsies as requested and participate in research studies when appropriate.
• Represent Infinite Legacy off-site recoveries and ensure professional conduct and policy compliance.
