Job summary

Network for Hope (NFH) seeks a Surgical Preservation Coordinator to lead organ preservation, coordinate operating room activities during donor cases, and oversee distribution of organs. The role requires significant travel within the donation service area and participation in fly-outs for transplant centers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of healthcare experience in roles such as surgical technician or similar.
• CTP certification required or to be obtained within one year of eligibility.
• Post-secondary healthcare certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate OR activities during organ recovery and liaise with surgeons, ORC, and staff.
• Oversee organ preservation and packaging according to OPTN standards.
• Review donor information and document procedures in donor records.
• Arrange import of organs and coordinate courier pickups for transportation.
• Maintain preservation inventory and ensure sterility and safety protocols.
